one of the BEST packages I've received in a LONG time
So, I just got home and there was a HEAVY box waiting on my front door step for me. It was from my friend and mentor, magician Danny Ray (http://dannyray.tv, http://www.captivators.com/, http://www.tenthdotministries.com/ ) Inside this box was thousands of pages of magic tricks and some great gems on theology. (Not only is he the best magician I know, he is a great man of God!)
I am very grateful for this gift and the friendship that has developed between us. I contacted Danny a few months ago when I started to feel God tugging on my heart to start this magic ministry. I was very surprised when he contacted me back and a few weeks later I was spending the weekend at his house as he poured out years of knowledge and experience on myself and a handful of other magicians. Not many people would do that. And I am very thankful for what him and his wife have done for our ministry. Over the years I've met a handful of quasi-Christian Celebrities (oxymoron I know) and although they are doing "God's work" they have a hard time giving you the time of day. So, it is a real blessing to know that there are people serving God that "get it" and see the big picture. The knowledge that Danny is pouring out on me is just helping to continue to grow the Kingdom of God. This to me is very challenging. I am challenged that I need to do the same thing. Not just when I am touring around doing shows, but everyday. Everyone I meet, realize they are an opportunity to share God's love. Everyone is in need of some help and grace and we need to pour that out onto them. No matter how big or how small they (or we) are. Thanks Danny and Kim!! You guys rock!!!! So hard and hopefully I'll be out around Christmas to hand deliver these (and the crap load of knowledge I gain) back to you.
